IS IT OKAY TO MARRY A NON BELIEVER



A lot of Christians fall into the trap of marrying non believers. Just because he knows Christ and he calls himself a christian means he has a personal relationship with Christ.  I believe that God wants whats best for you and me. The bible says that he knows the plans he has for us, to prosper us and to give us a hope and a future.We must ( Christians) follow him and allow him to be God in each and every aspect of our lives. We need to trust God to bless us with our soul mates. Read 2 Corinthians 6 verse 14, the bible says that we should not be "equally yoked" with unbelievers. A lot of people might think I am judging unbelievers. Marriage can be hard, now imagine having to go through it with someone you don't share the same principles and believes with. You will pull to the North and He will pull to the South. After all marriage based on a common faith is for our own benefit, protection and blessings from God.

LET ME GIVE YOU SOME QUESTIONS YOU NEED TO ASK YOUR SELF BEFORE MARRYING THAT GUY WHOM YOU DO NOT SHARE THE SAME FAITH WITH_- TO BE SPECIFIC A NON CHRISTIAN GUY.

1. When you and your spouse have arguments, will your spouse have the capacity to Forgive. The bible says that we must forgive...after all Christ Forgave us of our sins.

2. What he if whats you guys to stay together before marriage?. I mean the bible encourages us to flee from sexual sin...are you going to compromise your principles for him?. The bible says that God is a jealous God. He does not want to share his glory with anyone, especially a man that he created..a mortal man.

3. If your husband does not understand the idea of having a quite time with God, will he give you the privacy of spending time with God, speaking in tongues?

4. Would he lead your family, would he be in a position to teach your children the word of God....or you are just gonna ruin those kids and change their destiny?

5. Talk about fasting......would he be in a position to fast and pray for problems that arise in the family?

6. Does he acknowledge Christ...some man believe in spitualists, some in Sangomas, e.t.c. Do you realise that those things can connect you to the devil and bring curses to you and your children.

7. The most important thing Oh God...decisions. We Christians commune with God. We talk to God and he listens and responds to us. He is our father. Now imagine God speaking to you to move and relocate to another country. How are you going to convince your spouse that God spoke to you..he might think that you are mad.

8. Are you going to allow someone who does not know God to lead you. The bible says that a man has to be the head of the family, to love God and a woman has to submit to her husband. Now if your spouse does not know God, there would be no overflow of Glory from him to you..your family will be in danger of been food to the devil.

LADIES PLEASE TAKE NOTE

It can be very difficult I know..to wait upon God while your mates get married. But don't lose hope, and confidence in God. Trust him to give you whats yours. Don't compromise your principles. Its better to suffer now than to go suffer later in hell fire.  Lets not rush..God's time is the best.

Lately, God has been teaching me to humble myself under his almighty wings. He is God, he is my creator, and he knows me inside out. He knows my thoughts, my needs and my heart desires. Problems sharpens us. Problems brings us closer to God. The more a pencil is sharpened, the more it works wonders. Don’t worry when life turns differently, stand more, fast more, pray more, read the bible more and love others more. Though pain may come in the evening, joy comes in the morning.
